" Augadh.... are you sure we took a right decision?" asked a worried Shambhavi to her husband, who was buried deep in his smart phone. Hearing Shambhavi's question he smiled and took her hands in his " Let me answer the way Dr. Shambhavi answers her patients... There is nothing like right or a wrong decision... Take a decision and prove it to be right.... " Shambhavi was miffed... " This is no time for philosophy Augadh.... it is our son's life.... are we not playing with his mind and soul? We are enforcing what we want to and not what he wants." The guise on Augadh's face turned from grin to grave. He directly looked into Shambhavi's eyes as if it was all her fault " You should have thought of this before meddling with his memories.... I told you not to....but..." "Come on Augadh!! You knew what was he up to...There was no other way we could have stopped him. If we wanted our son safe, sound and alive this was the only way out...right!!!!" Augadh composed himself...smiled... and looked at Shambhavi..." Fine!!! What is done is done... why think about it now?" " Because Augadh he has traces of his memories returning back... I don't want that all of his memories are retrieved....it will be a mess Augadh... We will lose our son completely this time..." Shambhavi's voice cracked and she was on verge of breakdown. "Calm down!!! Calm down my love... Mithilesh told you right!!! There might still be some traces of memories left... but that can be completely wiped out if we can fix things... Oh Come on Shambhavi you are a psychologist!!! You know better how to implant things in a person's mind!!! Do I need to remind you everytime of you capabilities and your expertise?" Shambhavi didn't speak a word...she stared blankly at the empty street out of the window of the car. " Just 10 minutes more Shambhavi....we will reach Mithilesh's house... share all your doubts and inconveniences with him... I am sure he's the only one who can comfort you in this situation." said Augadh. Mithilesh was Shambhavi's distant cousin but was more than a sibling. Shambhavi was elder to him by a year or two but Mithilesh was much more matured and was always by her side, whenever she needed him. Mithilesh had never married, all for his own good. Neurology was his first love and that is what he was married to. He knew he couldn't give the required attention to a woman in his life and moreover he perfectly knew there will be a day when his wife will give up on him and find her own way. He prefered to stay married to his profession rather than a person as that would not require to fulfill anybody's expectations but his own.

It was a month since he had met his dear sis...whom he loving called Shambhu and she addressed him Mithi...quite weird nicknames though...but then they loved to call each other by such nicknames. Shambhavi was always Mithilesh's idol and he admired the way she balanced her personal and professional life. But a recent problem, had drained all her energy and efficiency. It was a trying situation for her and her family and he felt he should give his best to take his sister out of the mess.

Mithilesh was preparing the table for dinner when he heard the parking of a car and he couldn't contain his excitement to meet his sister and brother in law. He ran to the door to welcome them and opened the door with a bright smile.

The moment Shambhavi saw him she couldn't control herself and broke down hugging him. The men exchanged glances, Mithilesh understood what his brother-in-law hinted him. Taking a deep breath, Mithilesh comforted Shambhavi " Relax Shambhu!!! What's the matter? Why are you so shattered? Please speak up. You know I can't see you like this!!! Come on!! First sit down and relax a bit." Mithilesh took her inside and made her sit on the chair. Handing her a glass of water, Mithilesh held back patiently for Shambhavi to speak up. Still sobbing Shambhavi finally spoke " Mithi!!! Aadi Mithi!!! I am losing my son Mithi!!!" saying this Shambhavi started wailing loudly. Mithilesh couldn't take it any longer..."Shambhu stop it yaar!! You are wailing like a child. Nothing is going wrong... You are thinking too much... I am surprised, you are a psychologist...and that too one of the topmost in the nation. You should be the one convincing us that you will make things perfectly as planned. Why in the world are you giving up?" "Mithi I know my son more than anyone of you... Even if we have tampered with his brain he is a trained professional... the surgery that you performed was immensely powerful .... Yet he has flashes of memories... I...I.. agree there are chances of these flashes occurring and we can fix it up convincingly... But Mithi his brain is so strong, even my efforts to manipulate it, are in vain.. you remember right!!! we had to anesthetize him for 3 days so that we can perform this surgery on him...Even hypnosis was a failure...." Shambhavi was eventually breathless when she completed." Ohk!! Alright!! Fine...things that are done are done....what happened now that you came to me in a such a jiffy?? You guys left Aadi all by himself? Are you sure everything will be fine if he is left alone?" asked Mithilesh. "Mithilesh!!! Leaving Aadinath alone was my idea...I wanted to check what he is up to when we leave him alone. Uptil now I didn't find him going about to any other location other the nearby surrounding to our house. You want to see what he's doing now.!!!... here... look at the image..." Augadh showed the real time image where they could see Aadinath sitting on his bed and a glimpse of his bedroom.. " Ooowww Augadh!!! A CCTV in Aadinath's bedroom!! Didn't he find out that he's being spied on ???" exclaimed Mithilesh. " Nope!!! it is not normal CCTV...it cannot be detected so easily until and unless you are expertise in that. There is more to it bro... it is called RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) ... I can track Aadinath anywhere using GPS technology. I can view his real time image only at certain places where I have connected the IP cameras to my programming. I can trace him anytime and anywhere." said Augadh proudly discussing his successfully applied technology. " That's cool Augadh..you have made full use of your knowledge and fully displayed your capability as a scientist. Proud of you!!!" said a genuinely happy Mithilesh.." Oh come on Mithilesh.... rather, the great neurologist Dr. Mithilesh Mahajan....who successfully utilised his knowledge for retrieving my son from those crap things he did. Besides, leaving me and you there is one person in the room who still is trying to figure out how the knowledge gained with so much efforts is to applied." saying this Augadh burst into laughter at his own sarcastic joke. Mithilesh gestured Augadh to stop but Augadh was so amused that he didnt bother whether his speech might have had a negative effect on someone. Mithilesh knew this was it... there was a boiling lava waiting to outpour now. Before Mithilesh could intervene, Shambhavi stood up and headed straight towards Mithilesh.." Look Mithi I am not here for this stupid discussion and wayward sarcasm. I wanted to know few answers. Tell me honestly...mind you very very honestly... What is the success rate of this surgery?" " Shambhu!!! even you know the circumstances under which the surgery was carried out.  I told you earlier that the process is ongoing tests on humans but was successfully conducted on mice. Human brain is even more complicated than the mice, so I can't assure the same results are reproducible. As far as your question is concerned even I don't know the answer. Our brain is something which is a more complicated issue than any damn programming in the world. It is not easy in the way Augadh fixes IP or CCTV cameras or RFID chips and you implant things in a patient's minds. Earlier it was believed that only a few packets of neurons in certain part of the brain, are involved in storing our memories...but it is not the case....memories are stored in the entire brain and according to the knowledge I had I could kill cells which stored the more recent memories and I do not know what was destroyed and what remained. I destroyed the ones which gave the electromagnetic signals with more intensity which seems, he had those strongly embedded and had triggered them recently. The skills that he learnt forms separate part of his brain which eventually doesn't deal with his recent memories. If I had tried to destroy that too than that might have caused some discrepancies that had chances of totally disrupting his brain.  Aadi might sometimes subconsciously perform his tasks or if he meets people who can help him revive his memories may be he will know what has happened. If you can inculcate the things you want reversal is also possible." said Mithilesh. " It means there are strong chances that if he meets people we don't want him to...he can remember all those things... and will again set out for his treasure hunt...." Shambhavi exclaimed with a tinge of shock in her voice... " No..no nooo... I...I won't let this happen... I will make sure he doesn't come in contact with any of the people he has been deeply inclined with, till date." said a worried Shambhavi.. " Shambhu .... I said there are chances... even I am not sure how will this work...."said Mithilesh.

" What the hell!!!" exclaimed Augadh glancing at his phone. "What is it Augadh?" Mithilesh and Shambhavi asked simultaneously. " Shambhavi we ought to leave right now!!!! Shit.... I never expected this.... Mithilesh you are right man!!! Let's leave!!! Fast!!!!" saying this Augadh headed straight towards the entrance. "Aughad stop...tell me what is it??" asked Mithilesh. Augadh showed Mithilesh a real time image of Aadinath in which he was clearly seen jumping from the balcony of his 7th floor house. Seeing this even Mithilesh was startled. Without any further words...he picked up his house keys and dragged Shambhavi out of the house. Shambhavi was totally confused as to what was happening...the two men didn't answer a damn single question of her's and headed straight towards the car. Augadh heaved a sigh of relief when he could see the GPS signal moving somewhere.... " Oh Gosh Aadinath is safe...moving alongside the main road." hearing Augadh say that Shambhavi was astonished," What do you mean he's safe??? What did he do now to be unsafe...??" saying this Shambhavi forcefully grabbed the cell phone from Augadh...seeing Aadinath's stunt her heart literally skipped a beat and she held the phone as it is for about a minute or so. Mithilesh was by her side trying to convince her that everything was fine.... but the boiling lava.... it had to erupt sometime.... and Mithilesh realised this was the perfect time....Poor Augadh!!!! Had he not taken a decision to leave Aadinath alone...the situation might have been very different!!! " Thank God!!! I never married" Mithilesh said to himself silently smiling that he had taken a right decision of his life....

1 hour back......

The pain in Aadinath's head was excruciating but this time the flashes weren't hazy but very very clear. All he could visualise was snow clad mountains. It was early morning...the sun shone in the sky but the heat could not be felt. It was as if he was travelling to heaven. The mountains were draped in snow and looked as if a flowing milky river was freezed. He didn't realise where was he...but soon there was another voice calling him..." Aadi stop yaar... please wait for me..." a beautiful voice stopped him from climbing the snow clad mountain. Hearing the voice Aadinath's pain seemed to subside gradually. There was something in it that made him calm and relaxed. He turned downwards, lending his hands to the one climbing after him. The breeze was continuously blowing and her beautiful hairs blew in the direction of the wind. A few strands of hair were sticking to her face which she was trying to blow away.... using the power of her windpipe. Her hands were busy holding the rope to climb the mountain and even a small loss of her grip could have been disastrous. " Aadi bend down a bit yaar...I am unable to reach you...This blowing wind and my hairs...everything is such a mess ...." Aadinath was smiling all by himself at her cuteness and her charming beauty." Stop smiling like a fool...God these boys are useless...I must manage all by myself..." Just as about she was to climb....she looked above and saw something which made her shriek... The shriek was so loud that Aadinath was brought back to the present day..... He looked around and found himself sitting in the room. He heard the same shriek, but faintly again....this time he was not dreaming... The shriek was followed by speeding sound of some vehicle.... something was terribly wrong. Aadinath rushed to his balcony to check out what was exactly happening. His apartment was exactly aside a busy street where he could see people walking by and constant horning by the vehicles. It was almost half past 10 and at this time the chaos generally reduces... but today the scenario was completely different. He saw a girl sitting on the ground with something held really closed to her, surrounded by a group of men totally draped in red clothes and their face masked. His heart beats increased dramatically with a rush of adrenalin all through his body. Within fraction of seconds he normalised his heartbeats with some breathing techniques. He scanned the entire area around his balcony, took a deep breath and plunged from his balcony reaching the bottom of the building using "parcours du combattant", a more sophisticated form of free running called as parkour. He carried out all these stunts within a matter of 15 secs at max and even before the masked men realised what was happening, he efficiently caught hold of the girl and carried her away. He ran as fast as he could and entered a small street which had scope to hide successfully. The girl was staring at him in astonishment. Her face was covered with a thin dupatta exposing her beautiful eyes. Aadinath looked at her and suddenly realised something....and exclaimed " Oh Holiness!!! How in the world did I just do that????"
