The Inherited Treasure.....Part 5

Recap: Aadinath is shocked to see his parents and Mithilesh uncle injured. He makes sure all are comfortable, but then he finds some sort of a coldness amongst all the three. The things are confirmed when he sees his father fuming with rage for the first time ever in his life. He wants to understand what exactly is cooking amongst them, but his mother claims that she will tell everything tomorrow,it is quite late at night. Early in the morning Aadinath finds a note by Divyanka who asks him to meet her at the Tribune chowk with the key and his Grandpa's trunk. By the time he reaches the place he does not find Divyanka but suddenly encounters her being gagged by a group of mask clad men. The men seem to recognize Aadinath and Divyanka finds an opportunity to run away by hurting Aadinath. Aadinath falls on the floor even more confused by this confusing behaviour of Divyanka and is comforted by a boy called Visoka. They both are in midst of a talk when they hear a grumbling noise and get up startled.

" You hearing me??? Wake up!!! Wake up for heaven's sake!!! Shambhaviiiii.....!!" screamed Augadh. Shambhavi woke up with a start trying to grasp what was going on around. " Where is Aadi.... Shambhavi?" Augadh shook Shambhavi so vigorously that she had to be back to her senses. "Ouch!!! It is hurting Augadh..... Is he not home?" asked Shambhavi . " Not only him Shambhavi even Mithilesh is missing.." said Augadh. " Then there is no need to worry..they might have gone out for a walk Augadh." said Shambhavi yawning. Augadh picked up the clock from the table and took it as close as possible towards Shambhavi.."You really feel 12.30 in the afternoon is a good time to take a walk....they are not in the house since the time I woke up in the morning..." " Oh my God !!!! I overslept...and....where the hell are both...Did you check out for any note or messages around...Mithilesh normally leaves messages when he doesn't want to disturb anybody..." said a worried Shambhavi." I found no messages in any nook or corner of the house but an open door...and packet of milk on the kitchen platform. " Try and call Mithi, Augadh....both might be out somewhere chilling out or they might be packing some lunch for all of us.." comforted Shambhavi.. "No Shambhavi...Mithilesh has left his phone in his room.....I tried calling his friends whom we met yesterday...no one knows about his whereabouts. I hope everything is fine.." doubted Augadh. " Were you able to trace Aadi's location?" asked Shambhavi..." All thanks to you and your brother for what you did to me yesterday...Do I have my damn phone?? You made sure I am dead...Oh!! God!! " Augadh visualised each and every moment of yesterday's accident. He was about to start it again when Shambhavi got hold of the situation " You have the software in your laptop also right!!! Have you checked in that!!" " How can I Shambhavi?? It is in the office...You know right I keep it in my office and at present I am not in a position to drive there..." countered Augadh.

" Hey Augadh....good afternoon dude...had a good night sleep I feel...how is your hand now? Oh!! your swollen face has been normalised Shambhu...that's great to see." said Mithilesh who had just entered the house. Hearing the loud voices of Augadh and Shambhavi he reached their room directly. " Where is Aadi Mithi?" asked Shambhavi.." What Aadi!!!!! Isn't he home!!! " exclaimed Mithilesh. " I thought he was with you?" "Did you see him leave the house?" enquired a worried Augadh... " Nope!!! I left the house at early hours to get back your phone. At that time all of you were in deep sleep so didn't bother you guys.....I thought I will be home early...but things weren't ready so it took some time....Anyway...Here...take your phone Augadh....I made sure that all the things in it are intact and see..... got it fixed completely...there is nothing to worry.... everything's fine..... just a few scratches..." said Mithilesh while handing over the phone to Augadh. Augadh quickly grabbed the phone and checked out whether he could still trace Aadinath's whereabouts. He clapped happily like a small kid when he could detect the exact location of Aadinath. It seemed to be stationary. He stopped a moment to check where was the exact location....His excitement soon turned into shock and his face suddenly turned pale...."What is it Augadh?? Did you get where Aadi is?" asked Shambhavi. Augadh looked at Shambhavi as if everything was lost.." Augadh just don't stare me like that....I can't take your silence anymore...where is he?"

" He remembers everything now Shambhavi.... He entered Himachal pradesh an hour ago and now I feel he has traced the external component present in his body." hearing Augadh, both Mithilesh and Shambhavi were dumbstruck. Shambhavi composed herself and on a positive note exclaimed.. "That's ok Augadh even if he is in Himachal...we can reach him and stop him from reaching that place again right!!! How can you be so sure that he knows about the chip in his hand?" Augadh handed over the mobile to Shambhavi and Mithilesh " Here...take a look at the current location of Aadi. It is in Beas river near Mandi since last 30 mins. Do not expect Aadi to stay in water for 30 mins...I feel the chip has been removed and dumped in the river." said Augadh. "Cut it Augadh..we are not wasting anymore time in speculations. I have brought my car along...Without wasting any time lets go and trace Aadi...I feel we still can stop him from reaching that place." said Mithilesh. "I will come with you only on one condition Mithilesh...I cant trust this lady in question. She is not accompanying us. I don't want to be in the same car as her...she acts crazy in an enclosure." " Ok!!! buddy fine!!! even before you tell me I am not ready to take Shambhavi there. Shambhu I am sorry but you are staying behind....alright!!!." without a word Shambhavi obliged to what Mithilesh said. The two left the house with extra sets of clothes in case they had to stay back. " I hope Aadi remembers nothing or else Mithi is in trouble...." mumbled Shambhavi to herself...

8 hours later.....

"Was it really essential to sedate him?" asked Aacharya who was lovingly observing his disciple Aadinath after so many months. Aadinath had put on some weight it seemed. He wanted answers to many of his questions. He wasn't able to understand why Aadinath could not communicate with him, even though he tried so many times. What was refraining him to contact his Aacharya? It seemed Visoka read Aacharya's mind. "Aacharya...I am afraid there is a bad news I would want to tell you." "What is it Visoka? You have brought the Key with you and that traitor Kavya...she has to be punished for what she has done....all is well..what is wrong then?" enquired a surprised Aacharya. " He has lost all his memories...He remembers none of us...Not even you Aacharya !! And....and..." Visoka fumbled while completing his sentence. " And what Visoka??? tell me clearly..." " ....and..Aacharya he doesn't remember anything about the death of....Divyanka and he called Kavya as Divyanka!!"

Aacharya was definitely worried, but he kept his guise composed. He gaped at Aadinath's calm countenance. " Dont worry son we will get you back on track. Setuuu...come here beta...Listen!!! take a good care of Aadinath...make sure he is comfortable when he wakes up...I will be back quite soon.." " Ok Aacharya....." said Setu in a very low tone... almost a whisper..Aacharya sensed something wrong in her voice." You want to ask me something Setu??" " Aacharya!!! Doesn't he remember me??" Setu's eyes suggested she was just about to burst into tears. Aacharya smiled "Once he sees you dear he will remember everything...He's your Daju (Elder Brother) after all. That is why I asked you to be near him. A person may forget anyone in the world but he automatically connects with his mother and his sister. Ok dear take good care of him...I need to fix many things before he wakes up." As soon as Aacharya left almost 20-30 of the yogi and yoginis of the ashram gathered around Aadinath just to have his glimpse. Aadinath seemed to be in a state of REM sleep. His eyes were half open with his eyes constantly moving. It seemed he was dreaming of something.

It was hazy....like some storm has just hit the place and had calmed down " Hey come on dear....It's over...look we are fine..." The girl was literally clinging to Aadinath like a cute little monkey. Finally she mustered courage to look where they were. Aadinath was right, the snow storms had subsided and everything was stablilised. It happened like just in fraction of seconds. Few moments ago, they were climbing the mountains and she was asking Aadinath to just help her out during the climb. Suddenly she felt tremors and a smoke of snow approaching them. She gave a loud shriek which made Aadinath turn upwards and visualise the situation himself. She almost lost her grip but then.... Within a fraction of a second Aadinath plunged towards Divyanka!!! He caught hold of her and glided both of them to a small cave like part in the mountains. It was a matter of milliseconds. He had a waywardly sharp reflex and flawless accuracy of the distance and space. Had it not been for Aadinath, undoubtedly she would have been preserved under snow by now. " Hey Divyanka!!! You are fine right!!!..." Divyanka looked into his eyes and smiled. Her cheeks and her nose had turned red enough and she could surely be named a chipmunk...A monkey with a red face...It was no time to joke though...Guruji and Aacharya were both waiting to meet her. As they walked towards their final destination Aadinath suddenly had turned quiet....."Where is the Aashram Aadi? I can't see anything!!!!" exclaimed Divyanka. "Everything is not meant to be displayed Divyanka...you are here for a purpose or else you would never have been here...Have patience you will visualise the grandeur of the place yourself within a few minutes. " He suddenly heard a voice and turned behind. " Aadinath....how are you son? How are you feeling now? Aadinath get up son..." He felt a warm hand on his forehead... He was still in his dreams visualising a calm and composed person with a spotless grey beard and long hair which were spun into a bun. "Aacharya!!!! So happy to see you!!!" exclaimed Aadinath.

Setu was impatiently waiting for her Daju to wake up and talk to her. Aadinath was mumbling something in his sleep and the people around could hear only two names.....one was Aacharya and the other was Divyanka. Everybody was hopeful that Aadinath has retrieved his memories. Setu couldn't contain the stress any longer and called out for Aadinath with her deep voice " Daju!!! wake up Daju!! talk to me!!!" Hearing her voice Aadinath suddenly opened his eyes to find teary eyed Setu and a smiling Aacharya gazing at him. Setu could no longer control her emotions and she hugged her Daju while bursting out into tears. Aadinath could sense familiarity in the place and that, it felt he belonged here. He sensed he knew who the girl was. Her touch, her voice, her love and her empathy seemed familiar. He knew he could never forget her. Suddenly, words poured out of his mouth.. " Relax Bain (younger sister)...your Daju is here right!!! No need to worry now!!!" Setu was very happy that her brother did remember her amidst his memory losses. Setu was relaxed now and her cries were replaced by her beautiful smile. "Aacharya!!! As you told me....my Daju remembers me." " Yes dear he does remember you....now now...can you all give me and Aadinath sometime." replied Aacharya. Everybody in the room subsided. "Aadinath...tell me son...what do you remember about me..." Aadinath felt a deep connection with Aacharya. He knew he had heard his voice...in his dreams or somewhere in his mind. " I...I...feel a deep connection with you Aacharya...it feels as if your voice is quite familiar with the voice that resides in my mind. I have heard it strongly sometimes...like somebody was trying to call me." Aacharya was patiently listening to it. " Anything else son..." " I am afraid I will have to answer in negation. There is nothing else I know...It feels something has been done to my memory. My parents said I was in coma for 11 years and that is why I couldn't remember anything. But somehow I felt...I have been associated with some cause Aacharya. I really don't remember what, but it seems I have only traces of memories left and I don't understand whether they are flashbacks or I am hallucinating. I have many unanswered questions Aacharya...will you help me by answering them. " asked an anxious Aadinath. " Son!!! you will get the answers to all your questions by yourself but first...I want you to have some food...have a holy bath and come with me...I want to know how much damage has been done to your brains..." said Aacharya. " Ok!! Aacharya!!!" saying this Aadinath got up from his place and prodded around just like he had been at the place after a very long time. Aacharya stood glued to Aadinath's actions and mumbled..." His subconscious mind is still trying to recollect things....I need to work out fast...maybe it is time to use the elixir....." saying this Aacharya quickly proceeded to his room and asked Visoka and group to guide Aadinath.

" Hey Aadi...". Aadinath turned to check out as to who summoned him. A young man with wheatish brown skin and beautiful silky black hair, with very beautiful Angavastram stood before him. He seemed like a priest and about Aadinath's age. Suddenly there were 4-5 of them in same costume. Then Setu appeared before him in a saree which had the same pattern and same set of colours which the Siddhis were wearing. " What is this costume for? Anything special today?" asked Aadinath. " Today is a full moon day Daju...don't you remember every full moon day we all carry out activities at which we are good at. Aacharya says whatever qualities you have whether good or bad, it enhances on the full moon night. So Aacharya always tells us to meditate or do things which we are best at. And Daju...you used to practise different set of activities every month on the full moon night to enhance it qualitatively..." explained Setu. " That's cool Setu Bain....so what are you guys planning to do today?" asked Aadinath.. " Meditation !!!" all answered in unison. " But before that we have a task to do..." announced Setu with her hands folded. " And...What is that?" asked Aadinath mimicking her. " Dinner!!!!" was the reply.

Freshening up and clothed in similar uniform as others Aadinath accompanied the troop to the dinner hall. Visoka, Setu, Kashinath, Advait, Kanish and Mitul were seated on a Patla ( a small flat rectangular sitting stool) and an empty Patla between Visoka and Setu was reserved for Aadinath. A simple yet delicious food consisting of roti, daal, salads and sabji were served on a biodegradable plate made up of dried Siali and Sal leaves . As Aadinath gulped down the first morsel of food he suddenly realised he didn't have any food in the entire day....with that his mind traversed back to the morning where he visualised himself and Visoka panicking in the morning due to a grumbling sound coming from other part of the tunnel. Within no time they realised that it was nothing but the sound of drilling machines used for carving the half built tunnel and it was approaching them from the opposite side to which they entered ea. They both quickly moved out of the place by taking the box that Aadinath had brought with him. No sooner the guys convinced Aadinath to move with them to the Ashram and by convincing him that he will be getting all the possible answers once he returns to the place where he belongs to. He remembered the drive through a place called Mandi and all the people accompanying him. They got down near the Beas river to freshen up when suddenly Aadinath's world turned hazy and black....and then he woke up in the Ashram. Visoka realised Aadinath was deeply lost in his thoughts and his hands were meddling with a roti in his plate.." What is it Aadi?" asked Visoka. Aadinath was brought back to present. He looked directly into Visoka's eyes and asked a straightforward question " What made me go unconscious while we were travelling?" All of them stopped eating and stared at Aadinath. Advait was the first to answer " I sedated you Aadi and it was needed. " " Wait!!! What??? You sedated me!!! Why for heaven's sake? I was a good boy obliging you and accompanying you all the way around" asked an irritated Aadinath. " You definitely are a good boy Aadi but there was something you had which would have been a disaster to all of us.." replied Advait..." And May I know dude what it was? " asked Aadinath.. " Hmm...a sort of transistor in your right hand near the wrist...some sort of a chip. It had to be removed. With you awake...it would have been difficult for us to handle all your questions. So... to have a calm trip... you were needed to be sedated all for your own good."

Without further delays Aadinath looked at his right hand. He suddenly remembered the day when a small area near his wrist felt hard...now that had a bandage. Connecting the dots he spoke " Oh My God!!! Is this how my parents traced me where ever I went!!! Now..Now whats your name?" asked Aadinath looking towards Advait...Without any frustration Advait replied.." Your buddy for lifetime...Advait". " Ok!! Advait!! where is the...chip...or transmitter?" asked a curious Aadinath.." At the bottom of Beas river Aadi...Did you expect me to carry it here??? No way buddy...I wont allow anybody to snatch you away from us again.." replied Advait with sparkle in his eyes... Aadinath smiled at his lovely gesture and all continued with their food.

Meanwhile,

Aacharya was making arrangements for the rituals tonight. He was happy that his disciples had done a great job of tracing Aadinath and bringing him back. Acharya used to carry out all his rituals in a huge rectangular shaped room which was designed such that even a small amount of moonlight entering the room from the roof was reflected by series of mirrors, set across the walls, to lit the entire room. The intensity of light changed with the rotation of the moon and when the moon was exactly at the centre of the room, entire room would have the brightest of the light. Tonight was a special, because Aacharya would be disclosing the ancient secret that he had with him, from years down the lane, to Aadinath...who was indeed the next descender. That fateful day when Aadinath was taken away from him...he was bound to give away the secret...but some occurrences can never be explained. Aadinath knew he was a protector... of the ancient secret but that secret was never completely revealed to him. Aacharya was preparing Aadinath for his battles ahead and he was finding a proper time and opportunity to handover and visualise the preserved secret all by himself. The moon had risen and the room was beginning to light slowly and steadily. This made the room visibility a bit sharper and the contents in the room could now be visualised. Exactly at the centre of the room Aacharya had arranged some glass bottles containing liquids of different colours in a pentagonal shape and in the middle of the arrangement was the "KEY". A...KEY that Aadinath had acquired and which was a solution to all the problems.......
